Thermtronix Corporation was founded in 1985, to fill the need for a rugged resistance furnace capable of withstanding the rigors and heavy melt cycle requirements of the aluminum metalcasting industry. Experience in the furnace industry combined with innovative engineering and manufacturing techniques produced a cost effective, reliable and efficient solid state electric resistance furnace.
Thermtronix furnaces established a worldwide reputation for superior quality and reliability. Rising energy costs and shifting utility rate structures created a market demand for Thermtronix to develop high technology, solid state controlled, gas fired aluminum melting furnaces with the same quality, reliability and metal temperature stability which had become the hallmark of Thermtronix.
Thermtronix offers a wide range of solid state controlled aluminum melting and holding furnaces in both electric resistance and gas fired models. Ancillary aluminum quality control systems include both pneumatic and electrically operated Autoclean Rotary Degassing Systems, our RATS (Reduced Atmosphere Testing System) for qualitative porosity testing and our Q-Series Computerized Quantitative Porosity Measurement System.
Regional sales offices are staffed by experienced factory direct employees and supported by a responsive, customer oriented, engineering team. Computer aided application engineering, design, manufacturing and troubleshooting provide the means to rapidly respond to the needs of any customer.
